Additionally, the location near major airports such as Baltimore (BWI), Reagan Washington (DCA), and Washington Dulles is advantageous for travelers. One of the first things you need to be aware of is the statistics of Laurel’s population of approximately 25,000 is a little misleading because this number just includes the incorporated section of Laurel in the northern part of Prince George’s County. The truth is Laurel encompasses four counties: Prince George, Montgomery, Anne Arundel, and Howard counties, so the geographical area is quite large. Towne Center Laurel is one of the best places in Laurel, Maryland. It offers a wide selection of shops and restaurants and one of my favorite places to eat is Mission BBQ at Towne Center Laurel.
If you love American food, Mad Cow Grill is an excellent place to visit. It serves some of the best cheeseburgers in Laurel. The Mad Wings are another great item on the menu—you will love them!
For sushi lovers and those who appreciate juicy steaks, check out Kabu Sushi & Steakhouse. I love the atmosphere at Kabu’s. It’s fun and lively, the prices are great, and the time seems to fly whenever I dine there.

You will find all kinds of meats, baked goods, and more. A warning: don’t go to the Dutch Country’s Farmers Market too hungry; you will spend a fortune.
